Deleting your account
Last updated 10 September 2026
You can delete your account yourself, from inside the app, in about four taps. It happens immediately — there is no request to make and nobody to ask.
How to do it
- Open the app and sign in.
- Go to Profile, then Settings.
- Scroll to the bottom and choose Delete account.
- Confirm. That is the point of no return.
What gets deleted
Immediately and permanently:
- Your account and email address.
- Every score, photograph and PDF you uploaded.
- Every exercise and routine you created.
- Your whole practice history — sessions, notes, tempos and statistics.
- Your sign-in tokens, so every device is signed out.
What does not
- Exercises other people have already copied. If you made an exercise public and somebody took a copy into their own library, that copy is theirs and stays with them. It is no longer linked to you or to your name.
- Server logs. Request logs mentioning your IP address age out on their own within 30 days.
- Backups. Database backups are kept for up to 30 days and then overwritten in the normal rotation. Your data is not restored from them once deleted, and nothing reads them except a recovery from total failure.
There is no undo. Deletion is not a deactivation — the rows are removed, not flagged. If you want to keep your exercises, save the original scores and files before deleting, because we cannot get them back for you afterwards.
Deleting some of it instead
You do not have to choose between everything and nothing. Individual exercises, routines and recorded sessions can each be deleted on their own from inside the app, and an exercise can be made private again instead of deleted — which removes it from the shared list while keeping it in your library.
If you cannot get in
If you have lost access to your account and cannot sign in to delete it, write to [email protected] from the address you registered with and we will delete it for you. We will ask you to confirm once, because an emailed deletion request is the one thing an attacker with access to your mailbox could try.
What we hold in the first place, and for how long, is described in the privacy policy.
